RNT Consulting Inc. was established in 1998 to internationally serve the needs of
industries coping with macrofouling caused by various Aquatic Invasive Species such
as zebra and quagga mussels, golden mussels, Asian clams, blue mussels, barnacles,
colonial hydroids and bryozoans.
We have a unique combination of expertise including engineering, biology, environmental
science, statistics and vulnerability assessment. Our specialty is to apply a multidisciplinary
approach to any problem. We have extensive experience with the control and mitigation of
macrofouling, as well as solving associated problems caused by aquatic invasive species. We apply
both proven and innovative technologies appropriate to the situation, and we work closely with our
clients to develop solutions best suited to their needs.
Our clients are primarily electric power generation companies or organizations which are involved with
water management and transfer. They range geographically from Europe to South America, encompassing all
types of facilities from Hydraulic power generation to Nuclear plants and from Irrigation Systems to
Drinking Water Plants.
